File under ‘it had to happen’. There is a life-size bronze statue of Bob Dylan by the sculptor Pam Taylor in my garden. Bob is playing an acoustic guitar, the strings of which form a barrier to the sound hole, just wide enough to admit a pied wagtail but too narrow for any predator— which brings the statue alive each May!
